According to reports, the vehicles, which consisted of Hyundai trucks, KIA trucks, and Nissan vehicles, were found during a joint police exercise on Wednesday night.

Police said a team of officers, under the supervision of Snr Sup Ajith Persad, with assistance from Supt Hercules, Supt Mohammed, ASP Parriman, Insp Joseph, WP Sgt Narine and Sgt Swamber, among several others, received key intelligence which led them to a garage along Hydraulic Trace, Kelly Village.
Here, they discovered and seized ten vehicles, Hyundai trucks, KIA trucks, and Nissan vehicles. The officers also allegedly found and seized a crane as well as cutting equipment
It is believed that the equipment was being kept there to illegally remove engine and chassis numbers for some of the vehicles while other vehicles were intended to be cut apart and the parts sold.
