14-year-old Barataria teen goes missing

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is asking for the public's help in finding a 14-year-old girl.

According to a statement issued Thursday, Malika, a pupil of the Malick Secondary School, was last seen at her Upper 7th Avenue, Malick, Barataria home, around 8:20 pm, on May 4, 2019.

She was reported missing to the Morvant Police Station, around 10:00 am, on May 5, 2019, by her father.

Malika is of Africa descent, 5 feet 8 inches tall and medium built with a dark brown complexion and black braided hair. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of white Puma sneakers.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the police at 999, 911, 800-TIPS or any police station or text/WhatsApp 482-GARY (4279).
