25-yr-old held in connection with Tobago burglary

Police exercises in Tobago on Monday night has led to the arrests of a 25-year-old man.

The suspect, of Freedom Street, Plymouth, was arrested on enquiries into a report of shop breaking and larceny.

PC Jack is continuing inquiries into this matter.

The exercises were coordinated by Snr Sup George, and conducted between 8:00 pm on Monday and 1:00 am today in the Scarbrough and Shirvan districts.

Ten persons were searched, leading to the arrest of the 25-year-old suspect.

Police were targeting two persons, aged 32 and 20, who were described as “priority offenders” for narcotics and robbery-related offences.

However, they did not locate these individuals.

Despite this, arrests are said to be imminent.
