42 people test positive for COVID-19, 43 others recover

Forty-two more people have contracted COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago from samples taken during the period October 26 to 28.

This was disclosed in the Ministry of Health's daily clinical update issued at 4 pm.

In some positive news, four individuals have been discharged from public health facilities while there have been 43 recovered community cases.

To date, 32,861 people have been tested for the novel coronavirus.

Of that total, 5,636 people have gotten infected and 4,293 have recovered in total.

Active cases currently stand at 1,236.

Meanwhile, 58 patients remain hospitalised, 32 are in step-down facilities, 115 in state quarantine and 1,146 in self-isolation.

The death toll is 107.
