8 foreign nationals detained in Laventille

Eight foreign nationals were arrested on Tuesday morning during a police exercise in Laventille.

The exercise was conducted between 2 am and 8 am yesterday, and included officers of the TT Defence Force, the Port of Spain (PoS) CID, the PoS Task Force, the Guard and Emergency Branch, the Canine Unit, the Organised Crime and Intelligence Unit, and the Inter-Agency Task Force.

It was spearheaded by Snr Sup Ajith Persad, and ASP Parriman.
