Adverse weather alert cancelled
While weather conditions remain mostly cloudy with periods of showers and/or rain at this time, an adverse weather alert previously in effect has been ended.
The Meteorological Service (Met Office) made the announcement by way of a notice Tuesday afternoon.
The Met Office said the most intense weather associated with the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) has dissipated and conditions will continue to improve, giving way to a mostly settled night.
Adverse weather conditions affected Trinidad bringing heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds.
The Met Office has advised citizens to monitor weather conditions and updates it issues, as well as those issued by the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM).
