Arima man's murder connected to land dispute

A land dispute is being looked at as the possible motive for the killing of 59-year-old Kenzie Charles.

Charles’ body was found around 10.00 am Wednesday near his home at Rose Street, off Temple Street in Arima.

His body bore multiple chop wounds.

There was also what appeared to be blunt force trauma to the victim’s head, leading officers to believe that he was also assaulted by his attackers.

An autopsy is carded to take place today at the Forensic Science Center in St James.

More on this as it becomes available.
