Autopsy ordered into death of Penal man

An autopsy is expected to be performed to confirm the cause of death of a 60-year-old Penal man.

The deceased, Kazim Lallah, was last seen alive at about 2:00 pm on New Year’s Day walking along Clarke Road, Penal.

He was heading home, having just limed with his friends nearby where there was said to be lots of singing, dancing, and drinking.

At about 5.30 pm that day, Lallah was found lying on the roadway unresponsive.

The police and emergency health services were notified, however, officials were unable to revive the elderly man.

An autopsy is expected to be done on Lallah’s body today to determine the cause of death as an injury was observed on the body.

However, police suspect that this may be as a result of the 60-year-old falling to the ground.

More on this as it becomes available.
