Autopsy ordered as man, 68, found dead in Diego Martin home
An autopsy has been ordered to confirm what caused the death of a Diego Martin man.
The deceased has been identified as Raymond Gonzales, of Duval Avenue, Diego Martin.
His body was discovered in the bedroom of his home around 8.30 am on Wednesday by a relative who went to check on him.
The house, police said, was messy and police were attempting to determine if anything was missing, however, relatives told investigators that the house was kept that way by Gonzales himself.
The body was viewed by a district medical officer, who made certain pronouncements before ordering its removal to the Forensic Science Center in St James.
From initial inquiries, there did not appear to be marks of violence on the deceased and investigators suspect that Gonzales may have died from natural causes.
However, an autopsy has been ordered to confirm this.
