Autopsy shows Pawaan, 5, died from severe head trauma
Five-year-old Pawaan Granger died as a result of massive cerebral trauma.
This was confirmed by pathologist Dr Hughvon des Vignes, who performed an autopsy on Monday at the Forensic Science Center in St James.
Young Pawaan was killed on Sunday morning after a freak accident occurred at his Coolman Trace, Fyzabad, home.
According to reports, around 9am that day, young Pawaan was reportedly picking the leaves off a plant in the yard of his home, when part of a concrete wall collapsed, crushing his tiny body.
His father, 58-year-old Mikhail Granger, found his bleeding son and made a last big effort to save him.
He reportedly ran some 600 yards to the Fyzabad Health Centre however, Pawaan was pronounced dead on arrival.
Pawaan is the third person to have died in such a manner within recent weeks.
Police were told that the wall which fell on the five-year-old was built by the previous tenants of the buildings.
