Bahamas Hurricane Relief fundraiser to share funds with T&T
Part of the proceeds from the Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fundraiser will be shared with Trinidad and Tobago following floods from Tropical Storm Karen.
A release from the organisers, One Caribbean, of the Unite + Rebuild fundraiser due to be held tomorrow, Republic Day, said the proceeds will be shared between the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross and the Bahamas Red Cross.
"The TT Red Cross, being the disaster preparedness and response support organisation in TT, will need funding to provide assistance to those impacted. We want to ensure that we also do our part.
We hold true to our mission that we are our brother and sister’s keeper and we will continue in our efforts to provide support as needed on our Caribbean Community," One Caribbean said.
"After the passage of the Tropical Storm Karen we stay true to this cause and raise funds for the victims of T&T and Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. Do your part and come out on September 24 at O2 Park and support our Caribbean Artistes at the Unite and Rebuild Relief Concert effort."
You can donate to the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society via their website https://ttrcs.org/ or Republic Bank Account Info #180466501801.
