Bandits raid Central supermarket of cash, alcohol, cigarettes

Central Division police are investigating a report of a burglary at a supermarket in California.

The thieves stole over $4,000 in cash, as well as quantities of cigarettes, alcohol, and grocery items.

Police said at about 8.00 am on Sunday, they received a call informing them that a break-in had taken place at Da Shi Sheng Supermarket along the Southern Main, California.

When officers arrived, they found that a burglar proofing bar had been cut.

The items missing were identified by the 36-year-old proprietor of the business.
