Three bandits carried out a robbery at Royal Castle in St. Helena on Wednesday night.

According to reports, the branch manager who was on duty at the time told police that three armed men entered the restaurant around 7 p.m. and announced a hold-up.

The suspects then took the cash register draw containing an undisclosed sum of cash, which represented the day’s sale. They also stole a cell phone, as well as $300.

They then fled the scene in a grey Almera.

On Wednesday, gunmen robbed Massy Stores in La Romaine, making off with $250,000.
