Bank manager robbed of $150,000 in La Romaine

Police are investigating a report in which a 49-year-old bank manager was robbed in La Romaine.

The victim told police that around 5.30 pm on Friday, she exited a bank at Gulf View and was carrying a knapsack which contained about $150,000.

She entered her grey Honda CRV and was driving south along Sam City when her vehicle was rear-ended by a black Nissan Wingroad.

When the woman pulled aside, a man exited the Wingroad armed with a firearm.

He announced a hold-up and grabbed the knapsack.

He then returned to his vehicle and fled the scene.

The woman was not harmed in this incident.

The police were notified and PC Mohammed of the San Fernando CID is continuing investigations.
