Barrackpore cops get domestic violence call, find suspect and gun

Barrackpore police arrested a man in breach of a protection order after responding to a report of domestic violence.
Reports say officers proceeded to the Rochard Road home of a woman around 10.35 pm on Sunday. They interviewed her and a man who was present.
The officers then searched the premises and found a Taurus pistol loaded with a magazine containing five rounds of ammunition, hidden in a water tank.
The suspect, a 41-year-old man of Clarke Road, Penal, was held in connection with the find.
