Bejucal Road Exit to be closed to vehicular traffic from Saturday

The Ministry of Works and Transport is advising the public that from Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 December, the Bejucal Road Exit, off the Uriah Butler Highway (southbound) will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate Road Rehabilitation Works.
The alternative route for motorists on the Uriah Butler Highway (southbound) wishing to access Bejucal Road is the Munroe Road Interchange Exit, then turn left.
The traffic restriction will be in effect from Saturday 15 at 8 am to Sunday at 8 pm.
Additionally, on Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm, traffic on the western side of Munroe Road Interchange will be interrupted on intervals of 10 minutes in order to facilitate milling and repaving works.
Motorists are advised to:
1) Proceed with extreme caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
2) Follow instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
3) Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
