'Blip Blap' denied bail for larceny offences

A 29-year-old homeless man was denied bail and was remanded into custody when he appeared before the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court to answer to numerous larceny offences on Wednesday.

Christopher Moses, also known as ‘Blip Blap’, was charged with school breaking and larceny and warehouse breaking and larceny following incidents which occurred on January 29 and March 4.

Both incidents which took place in the Point Fortin district were reported to police and resulted in Moses being arrested by officers of the Point Fortin Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on March 4.

Several of the stolen appliances and cutlery were recovered.

Charges were laid by PCs Jagoo and Maraj of the Point Fortin CID.

Moses was scheduled to reappear on March 8.
