Blow to head shattered nursery teacher's skull

Tobago police are still searching for the suspect in relation to the killing of schoolteacher K'la Marie Cain last Friday.

An autopsy performed on Monday at the Scarborough General Hospital confirmed that Cain died as a result of blunt cerebral trauma.

She was said to have been hit so violently with a hammer, that her skull cracked.

Cain was beaten to death outside the school she taught at in Lambeau last Friday morning.

She was a mother of two, and she died at the scene.

Police are searching for a male relative who is believed to have committed the crime.
