Body found in Princes Town

An autopsy is expected to be performed to confirm what caused the death of a man whose body was found in Princes Town Thursday morning.

The deceased, police said, was identified by documents on him when he was found.

However, up to 11 am it could not be confirmed whether relatives of the deceased had been contacted.

Police received a call from residents of Buen Intento Road, Princes Town, that the body of a man was seen lying on the roadway around 6.30 am.

The man was found lying in a pool of blood.

He was lying on his back, and was clad in an orange t-shirt, black belt, washed out blue long pants, and a grey and white sneakers.

There were what appeared to be marks of violence to the deceased’s head and abdomen.
