Marlene fired a third time
Port of Spain South MP Marlene McDonald has been fired for a third time.
The Ministry of Communications in a statement late on Sunday night confirmed the Minister's dismissal.
It stated that Government has been reliably informed that based on the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will be charging the Minister of Public Administration and others with several offences.
The Ministry said based on this latest development Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley will be advising the President to revoke McDonald's appointment as Minister of Public Administration.
It added that a new Minister of Public Administration will be announced.
McDonald and her husband Michael Carew were arrested at their St. Joseph home last Thursday.
