Penal police are investigating an odd report of ‘larceny of cattle’ where a bull is suspected to have been stolen.

The bull was last seen around 6 am on Monday, when the owner secured the animal to a tree stump in an open pasture off Scott’s Road, Penal.

Upon returning at 6 pm that same day, he observed that the rope appeared to have been cut and the animal was missing.

The bull, police were told, was a brown and white animal valued at least $2,500.

PC Seepersad is continuing inquiries.
