Businesswoman, friends robbed at Sunday afternoon house lime

A manhunt has been launched for four armed men after they stormed the Mon Desir home of a business woman Sunday afternoon.

According to police reports, the 42-year-old woman was at her home along Mon Desir Road, Mon Desir, with three other friends, when four armed men stormed the premises and announced a hold up.

The assailants then proceeded to tie up the group, while they robbed them of their valuables, including jewellery, alcohol, cash, and cellular phones.

The assailants then escaped in a truck belonging to one of the victims.

The group managed to free themselves and the police were notified.

The stolen vehicle was later found abandoned at Samaan Drive, Dow Village, South Oropouche.
