CAL Senior Marketing Manager Alicia Cabrera receives an award from Guyana's First Lady

Caribbean Airlines has been awarded for its longstanding service to Guyana.

On May 24, Guyana’s First Lady, Sandra Granger, presented the regional carrier with a token of appreciation in recognition of its outstanding and longstanding service to Guyana.

Senior Marketing Manager Alicia Cabrera received the award at a ceremony held at the Guyana National Cultural Centre.

As part of it celebrations for Guyana’s 51st Independence Anniversary,  Caribbean Airlines on Friday ran a special Miles Promotion offering those customers, purchasing tickets at its Georgetown Office, a chance to win 51,000 miles. A random draw will be held on Wednesday, May 31, to select one lucky winner.

In a further gesture of appreciation, the airline also treated customers who visited the city ticket office to delicious cupcakes in recognition of Independence Day, celebrated on Friday, May 26.

Cabrera said: “Guyana continues to be an important destination to Caribbean Airlines and as the designated carrier for the past 10 years the CAL team continues to go beyond to serve our valued Guyanese customers.”

Caribbean Airlines has added extra services for the summer period, with an average of six daily flights, carrying over 350,000 passengers to and from Guyana annually.

“We are honoured to continue partnering with the Guyanese Government and other key stakeholders to deliver reliable service with added value," Cabrera said.
