In a release, CAL says it successfully operated 252 domestic flights for the period April 13 – 17, providing over 18,000 seats and accommodating 3900 standby passengers.
The airline says during the Tobago Jazz festival from April 24 – April 30, 301 domestic services were operated, 21,844 seats were provided and 5681 standby passengers carried.
The average on‐time performance for both periods was 86 percent.
Caribbean Airlines’ Head of Corporate Communications, Dionne Ligoure says: “The domestic air bridge is a significant part of our operations and we give it high priority. Customers have expressed their pleasure with our performance over the recently concluded Easter holiday and Tobago Jazz weekends. Extra flights were scheduled, and the operations and airport teams focussed heavily on careful flight management and service delivery. We commend the teams who worked diligently to ensure that our targets were met and exceeded."
In the last year, Caribbean Airlines says it has met and exceeded demand expectations during Christmas, Carnival, Easter, the Jazz Festival and other holiday weekends.
