CAL makes a difference with back-to-school stationery drive

On Friday, August 17, Caribbean Airlines began distributing stationery supplies to a number of community-based organisations who are partnering with the airline to help equip disadvantaged children for school in the new term.

All supplies were donated by generous employees, who continue to support the airline’s annual back-to-school drive, contributing to its success each year.

Head of the Corporate Communications Department, Dionne Ligoure, said: “As a responsible corporate citizen, with the support of the employees we are delighted to support community-based organisations through our annual stationery drive. Caribbean Airlines is mindful of the challenges that many among us face and it is our intention to assist parents and by extension the students as they begin the new school term”.

The organisations receiving supplies during the first phase of the Caribbean Airlines distribution of school supplies included The Freely Give Foundation, The Biche RC Primary School, and the Caribbean Women’s Group.
