CAL reminds travelers of safety protocols
As border restrictions ease across the region, Caribbean Airlines is reminding its customers of the safety protocols in place on their planes.
The airline has implemented a number of hygiene practices which are in line with current international guidelines.
The planes are cleaned daily at all ports in keeping with industry standards, with additional sanitization processes being used, as outlined by the regulatory authorities.
The 737 jet fleet is equipped with state-of-the-art high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters that capture 99.97 per cent of particles and the disinfectants used to clean the aircraft are approved as effective against COVID-19.
Caribbean Airlines’ customers, including children, may be subject to temperature checks and depending on the destination country, a negative PCR test may be needed before being accepted to travel.
Customers should check the individual country entry requirements. In keeping with the guidelines outlined by the public health authorities, social distancing is in place and customers must wear face masks at check-in, at the gate and onboard the aircraft.
