California family robbed by men dressed in female clothing

Police are investigating a report of a home invasion in California, where a family of three were robbed at gunpoint on Sunday morning.

The suspects, police were told, were all men who were dressed in female Muslim garb.

According to police reports, the three relatives, aged 32, 38, and 64, were all at their home in Dow Village, California, when the three armed men forced their way inside the home.

One of the men was said to have been armed with a firearm while another was armed with a cutlass.

The assailants announced a hold-up and ordered the three relatives to lie on the ground.

However, the 64-year-old resisted and she was forced onto the ground.

The robbers then proceeded to ransack the family’s home as they searched for items of value.

Among the items seized was $10,000 in cash along with a quantity of jewellery.

They then escaped in a gold-coloured Nissan b14 vehicle which was waiting outside.

Police were notified and officers from the Central Division responded.

More on this as it becomes available.
