Calypso Rose makes TMZ, reveals Japan tour
Calypso Rose's performance at Coachella has been getting the 78-year-old a lot of attention in the American market.
She has been featured in several reviews of last weekend's Coachella highlights and, ahead of this weekend's performance she has appeared on TMZ, the popular entertainment and celebrity gossip website.
In an interview with TMZ's Executive Producer Harvey Levin and Co-executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere, Calypso Rose said she plans to continue performing until she is 100 years old.
Rose was the oldest performer to ever perform at Coachella.
Asked about her touring schedule, she said she will be on tour from next month in Germany, Switzerland and London and from November 20 will be heading to Japan.
Rose will celebrate her 79th birthday on April 27.
