A Carapichaima man was due to appear to appear in court charged with the murder of his neighbour.
According to a report by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), 37-year-old Michael Woods of Waterloo Road, Carapichaima, was charged with the murder of Earl Van Mason after advice was received from Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions, George Busby, on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
63-year-old Van Mason, of Waterloo Road, was found at his home on Friday September 1, 2017, with head injuries. He was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injuries and died at hospital on Saturday September 2, 2017.
Woods was charged by Cpl Donny Bridgemohan, of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 3, on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
