Caribbean Fashion and Arts Festival to launch this November

The Caribbean Fashion and Arts Feature Festival (CFAFF) is carded for November 17-19, screening some of the best local, regional and international fashion films.

This year’s edition is themed ‘Afro diasporic Linkages and the Caribbean Voyage.’ A movement, discourse, a space, a channel for cultural transformation and expression; the African Diaspora is a collective consciousness, which is experienced by the descendants of the dispersed citizens of the African continent and shared  with those ethnicities who engage in this culture in the Caribbean.  And thus, artists from across the region have been asked to submit pieces on this.

Secondary school students have also been encouraged to participate by creating artwork based on the theme to be judged in a separate competition during the festival.

CFAFF is a non-profit organization in Trinidad and Tobago with a keen interest in the development of youth ages 15-25 with an interest in film-making and fashion and arts primarily in East Trinidad.
