The St Lucia Food and Rum festival is back as part of the St Lucia Soleil Summer Festival. This festival invites chefs, wine connoisseurs, rum fanatics and foodies from the Caribbean and the world to taste wine and rum, dine on exquisite meals and enjoy musical performances.
Over 80 restaurants will be participating in this year’s Restaurant Week which is designed to bring awareness of the country’s culinary scene. This year, to assist with booking and to give patrons information, there is an app available for download. Book early, as reservations go fast.
Tobago Blue Food Festival

In Tobago, dasheen is considered “Blue Food”. The Blue Food Festival celebrates the dasheen specifically with products that show the versatility of the crop, such as liqueurs and gourmet dishes. Considered one of the best food festivals in the world by CNN, the festival attracts thousands every year to Bloody Bay, venue for the event.
The Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival features the work of chefs from the island and around the world. The Festival will open this year with the Oistins Bay Gardens Cook Off followed by the Signature Rum Event with food and rum pairings and fine dining events which pair international chefs with local top chefs. The festival climaxes with a Beach Party at the Hilton Resort Barbados along with a final fine dining dinner at the Tides Restuarant featuring UK Master Chef - Chef Tom Aikens.
