Caribbean style and imagination to come alive at O2N Style

The Oxygen with Nicole (O2N) brand is expanding.

The brainchild of Nicole Dyer-Griffith, working closely with Caribbean fashion guru, Richard Young, O2N is a forum designed for ingenious and indigenous critical thinking and expression on issues of empowerment, sustainability and entrepreneurship with women and youth, as its corollary.

The O2N initiative has been growing from strength to strength, with outstanding platforms in Trinidad, and successful inroads made in Guyana and Antigua touting Tobago, St Lucia and St Vincent, next on its agenda.

With this organic outreach to a regional programme, the non-governmental organisation (NGO), O2N Foundation, will be launched at Dianne's Tea Shop on May 1, on International Workers' Day.

Its first order of business is corralling NGOs, creatives, entrepreneurs and like-minded institutions to participate in O2N Style, fashioned within an artistic gallery - exhibition and showcase - of Caribbean style, inclusive of inventive products and imaginative services.

O2N style will  be an innovative, strategic and festival event carded for the Sunday, May 27 at O2 Park, Chaguaramas.

The O2N Style Gallery [exhibit], has attracted participants from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, led by International Stylist, makeup artist, and social media correspondent, Kirk Cambridge-Del Pesche of #undotishmentLLC; Antigua and Barbuda, led by entrepreneur, and master stylist, Vanda Neale; St. Lucia, with the latest edition of the SHE Magazine; Guyana, led by author and Chairman and CEO Guyana Fashion Week, Sonia Noel;  with Trinidad and Tobago exhibitors including Pink Hibiscus, Network of NGO’s for the advancement of Women, DAV Originals, The Cloth, Fashion TT, Anime Caribe, Trinidad and Tobago incoming Tour Operators Association, Mannequins Caribbean, among others.

The Rituals retreat theater, sponsored by the Global Brands Group of Companies, promises to add to the beautifully curated atmosphere by offering participants a chance to lounge, with complimentary light fare after coursing the O2N Gallery, in anticipation of the main event, O2N Style, which is carded to begin at 7 pm featuring a cadre of the Caribbean’s premier design labels, side by side with designers of Fashion TT’s value chain investment programme.

The event is being staged in collaboration with O2 Park, FashionTT, Pink Hibiscus, Kuros, Global Brands Group of Companies, CCN TV6, Loop Media, Stephen Doobal, Dianne’s Tea Shop and Sun Tixx.
