Catholic Church makes changes to Holy Week mass amid COVID-19

The Archdiocese of Port of Spain has advised that in light of civil and ecclesiastical restrictions implemented by the Government to stem the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum must now be celebrated as follows:
For these three Liturgies, collectively referred to as the Triduum, Archbishop Jason Gordon will preside at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
He encourages all the faithful and clergy to join in solidarity.
All are reminded there will be only one celebration of the Sacred Triduum for this year.
Parish online Masses will resume on Easter Sunday after 9 am.
