Central Bank to open this upcoming weekend to change old $100s

The Central Bank will open this weekend - December 28, 2019, and December 29, 2019 - from 9 am to 3 pm to facilitate customers still needing to switch from the cotton $100 bill to the polymer note.

This is in addition to the already established working hours from 8 am to 3 pm on weekdays until the December 31, 2019, deadline.

However, it excludes Christmas and Boxing Day.  

In Tobago, the Central Bank will facilitate the transaction at the Unit Trust Corporation in Scarborough from 8 am to 2 pm on December 28, 2019, December 29, 2019, and December 30, 2019.

Individuals must walk with valid identification, proof of address and evidence of the source of funds. 

Companies are required to present registration documents.
