Chaguanas man held with marijuana

A Chaguanas man was arrested and a quantity of marijuana seized by officers of the Central Division Task Force during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Division yesterday afternoon. 

Officers conducted the exercise between 1:30pm and 5pm, on Wednesday when they executed a search warrant at the School Street, Enterprise home of a 24-year-old man. 

The search resulted in officers finding over two kilogrammes of marijuana in a room of the building. The drug has an estimated street value of $30,000. 

The suspect, who was in the house at the time of the exercise was arrested in connection with the find. 

Investigations are ongoing. 

The exercise was coordinated by Supt. Wayne Mystar and ASP Michael Pierre.
