Christmas cheer comes to Guaico children
Christmas came early for children of the Guaico Tamana area in the form of a Christmas party earlier this month made possible through the kind donations of corporate partners including Digicel Foundation.
The annual Children’s Christmas Party hosted by Martin’s Taxi Service and supported by Digicel Foundation, which took place on December 16, saw the attendance of over 200 children.
Owner of Martin’s Taxi Service, Martin Gonsalves, partnered with Wendy Lo Wing along with other friends and family as a way of giving back to the community. Through the partnership, Digicel Foundation donated $5,600 to provide tents and toys for the children.
Gonsalves thanked the Foundation for their kind assistance and heaped praises on the many other community groups, corporate sponsors and well-wishers who continue to bring the Christmas cheer to rural communities and help children who are less fortunate, in this season of giving.
