Over 250 children experienced utter joy and excitement when they attended the Martin’s Taxi Service Children’s Annual Christmas Party on December 14, 2019.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Digicel Foundation supported the children’s party by purchasing Christmas presents for the annual event, which was held for the first time at the Marabella Family Crisis Centre, in San Fernando.

Each year the Foundation team purchases presents that are wrapped and labelled by team Digicel as part of their annual Christmas initiatives. This year, the Christmas collaboration included the Marabella non-profit group.

Terrence Boisierre, Founder of the Marabella Family Crisis Centre, expressed his thanks and gratitude to Martin’s Taxi Service and the Digicel Foundation for hosting the party in the Southland.

Excited children, received footballs, basketballs, hoola-hoops, skipping ropes, football gear, dolls, cars, board-games and other toys to kick start their Christmas season.

The Marabella Crisis Centre was established in 1992 and has spent the past 27 years supporting families, encouraging youth empowerment, advocating for poverty alleviation and promoting sustainable family life.
