CJ out of country on private business

Chief Justice Ivor Archie is out of the country on private business.

He left the country on Friday morning.

Juctice Bereaux, Justice of Appeal will perform the duties of Chief Justice in his absence.

The Judiciary made the announcement in a statement on Friday morning:

“The Honourable the Chief, Mr. Justice Ivor Archie left the jurisdiction this morning on private business. During the Honourable the Chief Justice’s absence, from office, the Hon. Mr. Justice Bereaux, Justice of Appeal will perform duties of Chief Justice for the period August 16th to 24th, 2018.”
