Cops arrest 13 in Western Division

Police exercises in the Western Division last night have resulted in the arrests of 13 persons.

These individuals, said to be between the ages of 17 and 48, were held during a “roving-exercise” by officers of the Western Division Task Force.

The suspects were held in the Carenage, St James, and West End districts, for a variety of offences, including marijuana possession, inquiries into firearm related offences, and for being in possession of stolen vehicles.

They are all expected to be charged and brought before a Port of Spain Magistrate today.
