Cops arrest Jamaican who fled custody at Piarco International Airport

One week after he walked out of the Piarco International Airport, even after being denied entry to the country, Jamaican national O’Shane Bailey has been held.

Bailey, 29, was arrested in Grand Bazaar on Friday afternoon by officers of the Stolen Vehicles Squad, including WPC Sambury and PC Stroude.

The officers were supervised by Snr Sup Daniel.

The officers were in the area conducting other inquiries when they spotted the wanted man near Linda’s Bakery.

He was immediately apprehended and taken into custody.

Bailey, LoopTT was told, gave no resistance.

Inquiries are ongoing.
