Cops find weed at WASA's Tacarigua office

A police search carried out at the Tacarigua Office of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) resulted in the discovery of a small quantity of marijuana. 

WASA confirmed that officers attached to the Tunapuna and Arouca Police Stations together with the K9 Unit conducted an exercise at the premises on Friday.

During the exercise, a small quantity of marijuana was found

No arrests were made.

WASA said its Security Services Department was apprised of the exercise and cooperated fully with the police in the execution of their duties.
