A 28-year-old man, who was detained last week Tuesday after he blocked a roadway along Corinth Road, San Fernando, has been released without charge.

However, police said that officers do reserve the right to re-arrest the suspect should any other evidence or information become available. Investigators are also searching for two other men.

The man, who was from Ste Madeleine, was detained at about 2.30 pm on June 30.

Officers of the Southern Division Task Force and Ste Madeleine and Mon Repos Police Stations responded to reports of residents of Corinth Hills burning tyres and other debris on the roadway, disrupting the flow of traffic.

The officers were assisted by personnel from the Mon Repos Fire Station in extinguishing the blaze and clearing the roadway.
