Covergirl launches Full Spectrum Collection in Jamaica

Covergirl has launched a new range catering to women of colour.

The launch, held at Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, features a full range of chic shades and elegant looks to enhance the features of women of all shades, colours and creative styles.

The event was an elegant 'glitz n’ glam' black and white themed event, infused with pops of pinks, yellows, blues, and greens, and upbeat music to give that unique Jamaican twist.

Faces getting beat, beauty advisors giving tips, models slaying, local makeup artists representing, makeup treasure hunts....These were just some of what the VIP guests were treated to on Wednesday night.

The Full Spectrum Collection is “scientifically designed for women of colour”, explained Andrea Blake, the Brand Manager at EC Makeup Bar, the official local distributor of Covergirl in Jamaica.

The line is oil absorbent, transfer proof, and coloured to pair perfectly with darker tones. The line also remains at an affordable price range.

Dancehall artiste Tifa, Covergirl Jamaica Ambassador, brought the crowd to life with her performance, bringing to life Covergirl’s new slogan “I am, what I makeup”.

As the first Caribbean face to be a Covergirl Ambassador, Tifa stands strong for her people and is “happy to be the face of Jamaica”.

Check out the Covergirl Full Spectrum Collection at all pharmacies across Jamaica, as well as at EC Makeup Bar, the official local distributor of Covergirl in Jamaica, located at Lee’s Fifth Avenue.
