The Ministry of Health has advised that another two staff members from a cruise ship docked in Trinidad and Tobago have tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the new total to 126 cases, with nine active.

The Ministry of Health is advising that Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 124 positive cases of COVID-19. 

The latest case was announced in yesterday’s 6 pm update. This patient, along with the six others, is warded at the Caura Hospital. 

The Ministry reports that 4,861 samples have been submitted for testing. Of these, 3,877 are unique patient tests and the repeat test total remains at 984. 

Of the 124 cases recorded, 109 people have recovered and eight people have died.
