Repairs to Daniel Trace, Carnbee, are ongoing as work crews struggle to complete the task by Holy Thursday (March 29).
The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment (DIQE) said in a statement that over the past three weeks, there were several challenges with regard to the Daniel Trace resurfacing project.
However, the Division is committing to complete resurfacing works to Daniel Trace, Carnbee by Thursday March 29 provided that no significant rainfall occurs.
Drainage, excavation and road preparation works are ongoing and these exercises will continue after working hours and during the weekend.
Access to Daniel Trace from the Carnbee end was limited to facilitate the work while accommodation was made for residents to access their properties.
However, when paving commences, access may be restricted to foot traffic only for certain periods.
Further, residents are also encouraged to utilize alternative parking as much as possible during the exercise.
The Division apologises for all inconveniences caused and assures the public that it is moving to improve communication channels with its stakeholders.
The Management thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as the Division works assiduously to bring the project to an end.
