The Digicel Foundation is extending its call for applications for its Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities (EPIC) grant initiative.

The call is being extended to May 8, 2020.  Applicants will also have an opportunity to meet with a Foundation team member to help them through the application process.

According to a release from the Foundation, the May 8 extension will give groups more time to continue consulting with other community leaders and refine their applications.

Additionally, eligible groups will have an opportunity to meet with a Digicel Foundation team member to further discuss their project ideas and to get help filling in the application form at a digital open day.

The Digicel Foundation team has had a track-record of being with its applicants every step of the way - from foundation to finish and beyond.

The EPIC Digital Open Day is carded for May 14 and 15 to accommodate groups in Trinidad and May 19 and 20 for groups in Tobago.  Organisations will have the choice of using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp or opt for a regular phone call with the Foundation team.

All interested registered groups should make an appointment by visiting the Foundation on Facebook and Instagram, using the link provided. Appointments can also be made via email at epic@digicelgroup.com .

The Foundation is calling on all registered Community-Based Organisations, Faith-Based Organisations and other Non-Profit Organisations to apply for funding under the grant initiative. Registered groups can apply for TT$35,000 to implement an indoor or outdoor community project.

Interested groups can begin the application process by using the links located on the Digicel Foundation website at digicelfoundation.org and on Instagram and Facebook by searching the keyword: digicelfoundationtt. Completed forms and other queries can be emailed to epic@digicelgroup.com.

EPIC was launched in 2016.  To date, with an investment of over TT$2.6 million, there have been 80 successful EPIC projects impacting 31,759 persons throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
