Digicel prepaid customers will be able to save with the launch of the company's new '1-2-3' promotion this week until Monday November 13.
The company said in a release issued Thursday, that prepaid customers can save up to 90 percent on calls.
Since the launch of its ‘1-2-3’ Unlimited promotion Monday, Pay-As-You-Go (PAYGO) prepaid customers have been paying $1 per call, from Digicel to Digicel; $2 per call, for calls to another local network or landline; and, $3 per call, for calls to the USA, Canada, UK (landlines) and the Digicel Caribbean. Text messages to any local or international number will cost only 50 cents per message.
“We’re always listening to our customers and making sure we give them what they want. We have designed this promotion for them to gain up-front savings and get the most value for their dollar. This is one of the ways we're putting customers in control as part of our Digicel 2030 commitments. We are very pleased that customers will now be saving money all day and all night with the new 1-2-3 promotion,” commented John Delves, CEO, Digicel Trinidad and Tobago.
The company said over 95 percent of Digicel customers spend more than one minute on a call, which means unprecedented savings with 1-2-3.
Under Digicel’s ‘1-2-3’ Unlimited promotion, prepaid customers will be charged a single price per call and a fixed price per text.
Delves added, “We want everyone to benefit from this great deal of making long calls for a single price, but if you wish to make short calls only, we’ve made it flexible for customers to go to the MyDigicel app and opt out and pay our standard rates.”
Prepaid PAYGO customers automatically qualify to take advantage of the savings. Customers can connect as often as they wish and enjoy unlimited worry-free calling to the people and places they reach out to the most.
In accordance with Digicel’s Fair Usage Policy, customers can spend up to four hours on any one call and call back as often as they like for the same flat rate.
“With 1-2-3 the only thing a Digicel prepaid customer needs to do is make sure they have enough time for a good, long chat,” Delves concluded.
