Digicel provides Government with smart solutions to transform T&T

Digicel has presented the Government of Trinidad and Tobago with solutions to transform the country.

The Business Solutions and Trend Media teams of the digital lifestyle provider rolled out the company's suite of services and solutions to Government ministries and agencies at a workshop entitled “Enabling Government Services Through Technology” at the Hyatt Regency in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad on Tuesday.

The powerhouse teams presented custom solutions that would enhance infrastructure and communication for a variety of needs and uses.

The Business Solutions team looked at areas such as agriculture, public transportation, smart buildings, street lighting and marine where technological solutions could be applied.

Shakka Subero, head of government, Digicel Business said following the budget, particular areas were singled out where technology could be applied to improve efficiency and productivity.

He said Digicel aims to be an agent of change for Trinidad and Tobago.

Trend Media, a leader in digital, unveiled its suite of solutions geared at enhancing awareness, lead generation and conversion among stakeholders, as well as streamlining the execution of projects efficiently with its exclusive platforms.

Trend Media T&T’s Chief Operating Officer Eileen Ruddy, and Sales Manager, Sean Phillips, took the participants through the department’s products and solutions.

The workshop demonstrated how technology can improve current business processes and solve common pain points usually associated with bureaucracy and execution of strategies.
