UPDATE: Traffic signal disruption at Lambeau-Signal Hill intersection
The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment (DIQE) is advising traffic disruptions at the Lambeau-Signal Hill intersection will be extended as electrical work continues on the traffic light system. The DIQE has said that the traffic lights will be fully functional by Tuesday, July 24 from 4:00 p.m.
In the interim, motorists and pedestrians are advised to observe the flashing amber lights and to approach the intersection with caution. Enforcement officers will be monitoring traffic at the intersection.
The works, which were originally supposed to be complete by 2PM on Monday is meant to facilitate electrical work to the system in preparation for the upgrade and coordination of signals at five intersections.
Enforcement officers will be deployed to manage traffic during the period. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution when approaching the intersection.
The Division has apologised for any inconvenience that may be caused.
