Disruptions for North Coast Road as stabilisation work to continue

Beginning on Wednesday and continuing for the next three weeks a temporary traffic disruption will be in place along the North Coast Road, near the Maracas Lookout to facilitate landslip stabilisation works.

The Works and Transport Ministry (MOWT) advised on Monday that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the North Coast Road at the 7.5km mark on weekdays from Wednesday to August 5, between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm.

The roadway will be blocked intermittently to facilitate heavy operations.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers and comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

Motorists are furthered advised to be mindful of equipment and personnel entering and exiting the site.
